Cheerleading, a long time staple of the South, is now sweeping Michigan and Stars & Stripes Liberty Cheer offers the best! This sport combines all the athletic skills and fun of competitive cheerleading with the added benefit of competing not only throughout the state, but also at the national level. Our program seeks to help athletes reach their fullest potential, to prepare them for the challenges of tomorrow by helping them face today's challenges. We work hard to produce cheerLEADERS with positive mental attitudes, strong work ethics, self-discipline, and self-confidence. Teamwork is a high priority, but each athlete also receives individual attention. Our athletes leave the program not only better cheerleaders, but better people.
Open Call for 2008-2009 Teams
Liberty Cheer team placements took place April 19th & 20th. Congratulations to all of our Sparklers and Firestorm cheerleaders. We are looking forward to an AMAZING year with all of you! Our 2007-2008 senior team won 4 out of its 6 competitions, including 2 NATIONAL titles! Our coaches have a wealth of knowledge and experience. Don't miss this opportunity to be a part of our CHAMPIONSHIP program. If you are 14 years old or younger as of 5/31/08 you are eligible to be on
a team. It does not matter what grade you are in.

2008-2009 Season
Sparklers
The Sparklers team in our competition cheer program is a Large Youth Level 1 team comprised of those whose ages are eleven and under. These very skilled and motivated young girls will compete seven times starting in November 2008 including a trip to Chicago. We are very excited about the upcoming season and the friendships that will be made! Sparklers practice Tuesdays 4:30-6:30pm and Sundays 12:30-2:30pm. Tuesday practices begin May 6th and Sunday practices begin July 6th.

Firestorm
Competing in the Level 2 Division, this very talented team of cheerleaders have an exciting competition schedule ahead of them. Seven of the BIGGEST venues across the state will give them numerous opportunities to compete with the best! Not only will we be competition in Michigan, but in Chicago as well. Firestorm practice Wednesdays 4:30-6:30pm and Sunday 5:00-8:00pm. Wednesday practices begin May 7th and Sunday practices begin July 6th.
Liberty Stunt Clinics
To help prepare our cheerleaders for camp, we will be offering 3 stunt clinics for members of both teams FREE of charge.
